Texans rookie quarterback Deshaun Watson was limited Monday with an ankle injury.
The injury is being weighed as one of the factors on whether the Texans will go with the first-round draft pick as their starter Thursday night against the Cincinnati Bengals or stick with veteran Tom Savage.
Meanwhile, several players didn't practice Monday as the Texans are extremely banged-up following a 29-7 season-opening loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars.
That includes offensive guard Jeff Allen (sprained right ankle), tight ends C.J. Fieodorowicz (concussion), Ryan Griffin (concussion) and Stephen Anderson (concussion), wide receiver Bruce Ellington (concussion), middle linebacker Brian Cushing (concussion), running back Alfred Blue (high ankle sprain), wide receiver Will Fuller (broken collarbone) and cornerback Kevin Johnson (knee).
