Kamari Lassiter faced plenty of elite receiving talent at the collegiate level last season as a standout defensive back at Georgia. The Houston Texans rookie is now dealing with a whole new challenge during the opening days of training camp.
Lassiter, Houston's second-round pick in the 2024 NFL draft, spent plenty of time in recent days defending Texans wide receiver Stefon Diggs. The four-time Pro Bowl selection (and marquee offseason addition) was plenty complimentary of Lassiter during a post-practice meeting with the media Monday. As for Diggs' interactions with Lassiter on the gridiron, let's just say they're a bit more spirited.
