Texans rookie cornerback Lonnie Johnson has a limited body of work, but is adapting well to the NFL game.
The second-round draft pick from Kentucky made his second start Sunday against the Los Angeles Chargers and had six tackles and one pass deflection. He did a nice job shadowing big wide receiver Mike Williams in a jump-ball situation.
The Texans like Johnson's potential as a large corner at 6-2, 213 pounds.
"I thought Lonnie did decent," Texans coach Bill O'Brien said. "I think Lonnie works hard to improve. Lonnie's a hard worker. He's got good size, good strength, he's an instinctive player.
