Handing out huge pieces of lettuce, Texans rookie wide receiver Braxton Miller befriended a towering giraffe named Jack Tuesday morning at the Houston Zoo.
Miller and several other Texans rookies participated in a Hometown Huddle Play 60 NFL event, giving exercise tips on jumping rope and other activities with younger students.
"I made a lot of new friends, couple of young pups and giraffes," Miller siad. "His name is Jack. I took a selfie with him. It was my first time doing that. It was kind of cool actually."
A converted quarterback from Ohio State starting in the slot position, Miller has caught five passes for 34 yards.
