The Houston Texans were very fortunate to be able to acquire former Arizona Cardinals running back Andre Ellington off of waivers this week.
Not only did the Texans need a versatile running back with D’Onta Foreman out for the remainder of the season, but they were able to reunite to family members.
It turns out that Andre Ellington is the cousin of Texans’ wide receiver Bruce Ellington.
After high school, Andre went on to play his college ball at Clemson University and Bruce played at the University of South Carolina.
Andre played alongside his new teammate DeAndre Hopkins while at Clemson.
