The Texans reached an injury settlement with center Dalton Freeman, removing him from injured reserve.
Freeman is a former New York Jets backup who was cut by the Buffalo Bills last year before joining the Texans' practice squad.
He went undrafted out of Clemson.
Freeman, 6-5, 291 pounds, played in 16 games with one start for the Jets two seasons ago.
