The Texans have finalized a four-year contract with seventh-round center Kyle Fuller, according to a league source not authorized to speak publicly.
Fuller is a 6-5, 315-pound three-year starter
The Wylie native will be evaluated at center and guard. At the NFL scouting combine, he ran the 40-yard dash in 5.24 seconds and bench pressed 225 pounds 23 times.
The Texans have Nick Martin, a second-round draft pick last year who spent his entire rookie season on injured reserve, at center along with 16-game starter Greg Mancz returning.
"He'll compete for backup jobs at center and guard," coach Bill O'Brien said.
