Texans re-sign Seantrel Henderson

Seantrel Henderson's first season with the Texans ended quickly when the veteran offensive tackle broke his ankle in the season opener against the New England Patriots.

Now, Henderson will be back for a second try.

The former Buffalo Bills starter has signed a one-year contract for the 2019 season. Henderson's one-year $4 million contract had expired. Henderson could give the Texans a proven starter at right tackle if he can remain healthy.

BRIAN T. SMITH: Mahomes or Watson? Take your pick

Losing Henderson when he was placed on injured reserve triggered a line shuffle as the pass protection was bad all season with the Texans allowing quarterback Deshaun Watson to be sacked an NFL-high 62 times.
