The Texans re-signed former Arizona Cardinals safety Jonathan Owens to the practice squad.
Owens was cut from the Texans' 53-man roster after a 20-17 win over the Indianapolis Colts, cleared waivers Monday and signed his practice squad contract.
Owens spent 2018 on the Cardinals' injured reserve list due to a knee injury.
The 5-11, 210-pounder went undrafted out of Missouri Western.
Owens was released on Aug. 31 by Arizona.
In college, he was a second-team all-conference and all-academic selection who had 95 tackles and two interceptions in his final season.
