Reserve running back Troymaine Pope faces long odds to make the Texans' roster.
The former Seattle Seahawks running back is aware he needs to keep making big plays like the 34-yard catch-and-run he produced against the Kansas City Chiefs last week to make the 53-man roster.
"Pope does some good things," Texans coach Bill O'Brien said. "It's hard to make a 53-man roster. At that position, you have to be versatile, you have to be good on special teams. It's hard to make a pro football team. It's really hard. So, he's a hard worker and he's in the hunt.
