JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Rumbling into the end zone Sunday, Texans veteran running back Lamar Miller had plenty of room to operate as he scored on his first rushing touchdown of the season.
Offensive guard Greg Mancz led the blocking charge on the 5-yard touchdown run as he sealed off defenders and pushed them backward. Texans coach Bill O'Brien praised the drive blocking on the score, which gave the Texans a 13-0 lead during a 20-7 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Miller rushed for 100 yards on 22 carries as he averaged 4.5 yards per run. This marks his first 100-yard game since the 2016 season against the Indianapolis Colts.
