Texans veteran strong safety Quintin Demps remains sidelined with a calf injury and is expected to miss his second consecutive game Monday night against the Denver Broncos.
Demps got hurt Oct. 9 at Minnesota and was unable to return. He's been replaced in the starting lineup by Corey Moore.
Meanwhile, Texans running back Jonathan Grimes is out for the third game in a row as his cracked fibula continues to heal.
Grimes didn't practice along with special-teams ace Brian Peters, who has a quadriceps injury that's kept him out since the Minnesota game. Peters is regarded as unlikely to return this week, but is making progress.
