For the first time since his postgame interview Sunday, quarterback Tom Savage met with the media before practice today.
Savage played bad in the first three quarters of the 20-14 loss to Indianapolis but rebounded with a 34-yard touchdown pass to DeAndre Hopkins. He got the Texans to the Colts’ 7 with 18 seconds left, throwing three incompletions and getting sacked as time expired.
Afterward, Savage said he played “like crap” and didn’t try to sugarcoat his performance in any way.
“I’m my worst critic,” he said. “I can promise you there’s no one harder on me than I am.
