For Texans quarterback Tom Savage, putting in extra time with a young receiving corps is pivotal.
With the exception of DeAndre Hopkins, it's a young group with Will Fuller lined up on the other side and Braxton Miller operating out of the slot.
Now that Savage is taking the reps with the first-team offense after years of being a backup, it's time for him to build chemistry with this group.
"It's helping a lot," Savage said. "That's all it's about, is chemistry with these guys and competing against one of the best defenses in the NFL.
