For nearly two decades, Shane Lechler has been one of the top punters in the NFL.
Entering his 18th season, the Texans punter is still booming punts with impressive hangtime to remain atop his profession.
The 41-year-old seven-time Pro Bowl selection averaged 47.5 yards and a 40.1 net per punt last season. He placed 30 punts inside opponents' 20-yard line.
The East Barnard native and former Texas A&M standout is regarded as a potential future Hall of Fame selection as one of the best punters in NFL history. Lechler reflected this week on his legacy.
"Yeah, I think about it," Lechler said.
