CARSON, Calif. - In his first game since replacing Trevor Daniel as the Texans' punter, veteran Bryan Anger was up to the task during a win over the Los Angeles Chargers.
Anger flipped the field regularly, averaging 45 yards per punt. That included a 55-yard punt.
The former Jacksonville Jaguars third-round draft pick from Cal pinned three punts inside the 20-yard line.
"Bryan had a great day," Texans return specialist DeAndre Carter said. "He was booming the ball with great hang time. That's what he does. It didn't surprise me."
