Texans punter Bryan Anger off to good start

Texans veteran punter Bryan Anger established his ability to flip the field with excellent hang time and placement in his first game as the replacement for Trevor Daniel.

The former Jacksonville Jaguars punter averaged 45 yards per punt, including a 55-yarder, and pinned three punts inside the Chargers' 20-yard line.

"It felt good," said Anger, who was with the Texans during the preseason. "It was comfortable coming back in. I had a smooth game, a good start. It went well. We had a lot of work together before, so I didn't have to worry too much about jumping in there.
