The Texans have promoted highly-regarded area scout Rob Kisiel to national scout following the retirement of longtime national scout Ed Lambert.
Kisiel is in his second stint with the Texans following a five-year tenure with the Blesto scouting service.
Kisiel has previously worked as a scouting coordinator, college scout and pro scout for the Texans. Kisiel was a student assistant coach at Florida State and interned for the NFL management council, and was a draft room coordinator for Washington after an internship with them and the London Monarchs.
Meanwhile, the Texans have hired former New England Patriots area scout Frantzy Jourdain as a Southeast area scout.
