The Houston Texans face something of a dilemma with NRG Stadium, the franchise's home for the last two-plus decades. New Texans' president Mike Tomon is eager to improve a site with an estimated $1.4 billion in recommended repairs.
"With an emphasis on this transformative moment with the stadium, [this] is a one-of-one opportunity," Tomon told Sports Business Journal's Ben Fischer. "I don't know if I could have written it better."
Tomon was hired by Houston late last month as their new team president after the exit of Greg Grissom, who led the Texans' business operations for the last four years.
