Texans pregame ceremony full of emotions

The pregame pageantry for the Houston Texans' regular season opener lived up to the hype.

The Texans honored several city officials as well Houston residents who helped during the destruction of Hurricane Harvey.

The sellout crowd gave several standing ovations to players and city officials alike, but the loudest ovation was reserved for J.J. Watt, who was the final player introduced and came walking out of the tunnel waving a Texas flag.

Each Texans player introduced ran onto the field with either an American or Texas flag.

During the national anthem - sung by Clay Walker - an American bald eagle named Challenger soared around the stadium while a field-sized American flag was stretched across the field and held by some of the city's first responders.
