Former Texans tight end Garrett Graham and his wife, Ericka Graham, wanted to give Houston high school students a hand to navigate the college application process.
Two years ago, Project 88 was launched. It sponsors college advisors to serve in Houston public high schools and is sponsored by Texans owner Bob McNair and his wife, Janice , through their foundation. A Project 88 gala was held Friday night at Ecclesia in Houston.
"It's great for us to be able to help the city of Houston and give back in this way," Garrett Graham said. "We've got a great turnout.
