The Houston Texans are donating $400,000 to the Robb School Memorial Fund, which will provide financial assistance to the Uvalde community after 19 elementary students and two teachers were shot and killed last week. According to the team, Texans players led the donation effort, pooling together $200,000, which the Texans front office matched.
"Texans care about Texans, especially in times of triumph and tragedy,” Houston Texans CEO Cal McNair said in a statement released by the team. “I’m so proud of our players for championing this effort and was inspired to support our neighbors in Uvalde alongside them.
