Texans veteran cornerback Kayvon Webster is being placed on injured reserve with a quadriceps injury, according to a league source not authorized to speak publicly.
Webster got hurt a few plays into his debut with the Texans on Sunday night against the Dallas Cowboys.
Webster was signed to a one-year, $2.25 million contract.
He was replaced on the active roster by defensive back Mike Tyson, who was promoted from the practice squad. Tyson is a former Seattle Seahawks seventh-round draft pick.
