HOUSTON -- The Houston Texans placed defensive end Devon Still on injured reserve on Wednesday and promoted defensive end Brandon Dunn from the practice squad to the active roster.
Still only played 27 percent of the Texans' defensive snaps in Sunday's victory over the Tennessee Titans. He was inactive for Week 3 against the Patriots.
Last week, the Texans placed star defensive end J.J. Watt on injured reserve with a back injury. He had surgery last week and will miss the rest of the season. Former No. 1 pick Jadeveon Clowney started in Watt's place at left defensive end and registered the lone Texans sack of the game.
