Less than one month ago, the Texans were struggling. With a 2-5 start that included two crushing, double-digit losses, the team needed to turn things around and do so quickly.
Injuries to Arian Foster and and the offensive line didn’t help. The defense wasn't gelling and the quarterback situation was in flux. Bill O’Brien wanted complementary football in all three phases: offense, defense, and special teams but things just weren't clicking for the Texans.
Three consecutive wins later, the Texans improved to 5-5 on the season. After their 24-17 win over the Jets, the Texans remain tied for first in the AFC South with Indianapolis.
