Texans owner Bob McNair said Wednesday he expects competition at quarterback among Brock Osweiler, Tom Savage and a "young one" probably from the draft.
McNair said Osweiler would have to play better and that he expects Tom Savage to compete hard for the starting job.
The Texans are expected to draft a quarterback in the first or second round if they find one they like.
McNair said he speaks to coach Bill O'Brien and general manager Rick Smith about their working relationship. He said there's nothing wrong with them having disagreements.
