HOUSTON -- Houston Texans linebacker Jadeveon Clowney left and returned to the game multiple times during the first half Sunday against the Tennessee Titans with a back injury.
In all, Clowney began three drives and left the field three times, twice for trips to the locker room.
The former No. 1 overall draft pick suffered the injury on the Texans' first defensive series against the Titans. He left the game for a few plays after being examined on the field by trainers, then returned for the Texans' next series.
Clowney seemed to aggravate the injury upon his return, and trainers once again examined him on the field.
