Texans' offensive line goes from weakness to strength behind Duane Brown

HOUSTON -- The Houston Texans' offensive line has gone through many iterations this season.

They lost rookie center Nick Martin, their second-round pick, for the season during training camp after he injured his ankle and required surgery in August.

They were without Pro Bowl left tackle Duane Brown until Week 5, as he continued recovering from a quadriceps injury he suffered in the 2015 regular season finale.

They lost right tackle Derek Newton in the first quarter of the Texans' Week 7 loss to the Denver Broncos when he tore the patella tendons in both legs.
