Quarterback C.J. Stroud and the Houston Texans insisted a healthy lineup and a return home would spark their ailing offense in Week 12. Sunday’s loss at NRG Stadium marked perhaps the most concerning performance to date for the now 7–5 squad.
Houston fell 32-27 in a loss to the Tennessee Titans, scoring just 10 second-half points in the team’s fourth loss in its last six games. The scoreboard only tells a portion of the Texans’ struggles. Stroud tossed a pair of ugly interceptions (his third multi-interception game this season). Houston committed 11 penalties, including an illegal formation error on a would-be-go-ahead touchdown from wide receiver Nico Collins late in the third quarter.
