The NFL offseason hasn’t officially started yet, but you could say it has for the Houston Texans.
Most Texans players are already out of the city and recuperating from a long season. But one Texans player will not get to rest easy quite yet.
Houston Texans long-snapper Jon Weeks is headed to the Pro Bowl. Weeks was named to the Pro Bowl by Green Bay Packers coach Mike McCarthy. It’s Weeks’ first Pro Bowl appearance since entering the league in 2010. The 29-year old is one of the most highly-regarded long-snappers in the game and the Texans rewarded him a few months ago with an extension that will keep him in a Texans uniform through the 2019 season.
