The Texans aren't signing former Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Brice Butler following a workout, according to league sources not authorized to speak publicly.
The Texans are seeking reinforcement at wide receiver after Will Fuller's season-ending knee injury and are evaluating free agents as well as the trade market and players currently on their roster.
Butler was cut by the Cowboys after they traded for Oakland Raiders wide receiver Amari Cooper.
A former Oakland Raiders seventh-round draft pick, Butler has caught 73 career passes for 1,177 yards and eight touchdowns in six NFL seasons.
