The Houston Texans appear poised to have their top weapon available against the Detroit Lions on Sunday night.
Late Friday morning, the franchise issued notice that Collins, previously sidelined with a hamstring injury and placed on Injured Reserved, has been designated for return and would practice.
The 6-foot-3 star wideout was spotted warming up on the field alongside teammates Friday morning. This is Collins' first practice with the team since tweaking his hamstring on a long touchdown catch against the Buffalo Bills in Week 5. Houston has experienced tough sledding in Collins' absence, dropping games to the Green Bay Packers in Week 7 and New York Jets in Week 9.
