Texans need to protect CJ Stroud. Can ex-Cowboys OL help?

Opposing defensive lines are hounding Houston Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud in recent weeks as the star signal caller battles increasing (and concerning) pressure rates. Houston could add an external option to help its ailing offensive line before Week 10.

Don't expect any sort of blockbuster trade from general manager Nick Caserio before Tuesday's 3 p.m. CT trade deadline. The free-agent route is more likely. Houston worked out a quartet of offensive lineman on Monday, per KPRC 2's Aaron Wilson, and one participant in particular comes with something of a decorated NFL resume.
