The Houston Texans announced on Tuesday that they’ve placed tight end C.J. Fiedorowicz and wide receiver Bruce Ellington on season-ending injured reserve.
In order to fill their spots on their 53-man roster, the Texans signed tight end MyCole Pruitt and wide receiver DeAndrew White off of their practice squad and onto their active roster.
In response, Houston added wide receiver Devin Lucien and cornerback Josh Thornton to their practice squad.
Fiedorowicz suffered a concussion against the Tennessee Titans and Ellington went down with a hamstring injury.
I understand why the Texans would place Fiedorowicz on injured reserve, since this was this third concussion of the season.
