Texans make no notable deals at NFL Trade Deadline

The NFL Trade Deadline came and went with no movement from the 1-6 Houston Texans.

The only move the Texans made in the week leading up to the deadline was dealing defensive tackle Eli Ankou to the Dallas Cowboys for a 2022 seventh-round draft pick. That deal was agreed to Friday and made official Monday. Ankou never played a snap for the Texans. He was signed off waivers from the Indianapolis Colts in October.

WHAT WE SAID BEFORE THE DEADLINE: Take a deep breath. It's time for Texans to trade J.J. Watt

According to the Houston Chronicle's Aaron Wilson, the Texans had conversations with teams about trades, most notably with the Green Bay Packers about receiver Will Fuller.
