The Texans made it official Monday, signing cornerback Kayvon Webster to a one-year, $2 million contract.
Webster took a physical Monday after working out for the team Sunday and agreeing to terms.
Webster, a former Los Angeles Ram and Denver Bronco, is coming back from a torn Achilles suffered last season when he was with the Rams and started 11 games. He recorded 38 tackles and one interception.
Texans cornerback Kevin Johnson remains under the NFL concussion protocol since getting hurt against the San Francisco 49ers, but is improving and getting ready to return to practice soon.
