Texans LT Duane Brown Unhappy With Contract, Skipping OTAs

Texans LT Duane Brown isn’t happy with his current contract situation and is skipping the team’s voluntary OTA workouts, per Mark Berman.

Brown isn’t the only veteran left tackle to holdout of OTAs for a new contract, as Branden Albert of the Jaguars is also looking for an improved salary.

Offensive tackles made out well in free agency this year with the top players securing between $12-$13 million per year.

Brown, 31, is a former first-round pick of the Texans back in 2008. He’s currently in the sixth year of his seven-year, $56.
