Texans long snapper Jon Weeks proud of 100-game streak

Growing up in Arizona, Texans Pro Bowl long snapper Jon Weeks always wanted to play in the NFL.

After going undrafted out of Baylor and being out of football for two years, Weeks' dream looked like it might go unrealized until the Texans signed him as a free agent.

Years later, Weeks is one of the top long snappers in the game and was named to his first Pro Bowl last season.

On Sunday against the Tennessee Titans at NRG Stadium, Weeks played in his 100th consecutive game. That's the fourth-longest streak in franchise history.

"Yeah, it's definitely something I'm proud of," Weeks said Monday.
