Lined up in the Texans' backfield Sunday as an oversized fullback against the Tennessee Titans, left offensive guard Xavier Su'a-Filo had no illusions that he was going to touch the football.
Su'a-Filo knew he was strictly in there for blocking purposes.
When was the last time the 6-4, 320-pounder touched the football?
"Eighth grade," Su'a-Filo said with a smile. "I haven't done that in years."
The former second-round draft pick from UCLA thoroughly enjoyed his experience as a blocking back, throwing his body around to try to open up holes for the running game.
"It was fun," Su'a-Filo said.
