Huddled in a small room as an intravenous line sent chemotherapy through cancer patients' veins Tuesday morning, Texans offensive lineman David Quessenberry delivered a unique perspective.
Quessenberry has been in their shoes, wondering what's next for his life as he successfully battled non-Hodgkins lymphoma for the past few years.
He's endured months of intensive chemotherapy treatment and radiation therapy and is on the Texans' non-football illness list and hopes to play football again one day.
"I've sat in that chair, I've had that chemotherapy running through that IV," Quessenberry said following his visit with cancer patients at Houston Methodist Outpatient Center.
