HOUSTON -- Houston Texans left tackle Duane Brown returned to practice for the first time since the end of last season, when he tore the quadriceps tendon in his right leg.
Texans head coach Bill O’Brien did not rule Brown out for Sunday’s game against the Tennessee Titans, but said Friday that he did not think that Brown would be back for the game.
Brown spent all of training camp and the preseason on the physically unable to perform list while rehabbing the injury. The Texans chose to put him on the active roster prior to the regular season instead of leaving him on the physically unable to perform list, which would have kept him out of practice for at least the first six weeks of the season.
