Texans' Lamar Miller sidelined again

Related Topics: Lamar Miller

Texans veteran running back Lamar Miller worked on the side with trainers, not practicing for the second consecutive day.

Miller could be held out of the Texans' regular-season road finale against the Tennessee Titans because of an ankle injury. Miller didn't play during a 12-10 win over the Cincinnati Bengals on Saturday.

It would make sense for the Texans to rest Miller and get him as healthy as possible for an upcoming AFC wild-card playoff game at NRG Stadium the following week. Miller has rushed for 1,073 yards and five touchdowns in his first season with the Texans.
