As the Texans prepare for a relatively meaningless game against the Tennessee Titans, a trio of key players didn't practice Wednesday.
That included veteran running back Lamar Miller, Pro Bowl defensive end Jadeveon Clowney and starting outside linebacker John Simon.
Miller and Simon worked on the side.
Miller has an ankle injury that kept him out against the Cincinnati Bengals. He has been making progress, but his status is undetermined for the Texans' regular-season finale. It would make sense for the Texans to hold him out to rest him up for the playoffs, just as it would for Clowney.
