Texans know history hasn't been kind to teams in Super Bowl host cities

HOUSTON -- During a news conference announcing the start of the football year that will lead to Houston's next Super Bowl, the mayor of Houston made sure to say he'd love to see the Houston Texans playing in their home stadium in Super Bowl LI.

Texans nose tackle Vince Wilfork, too, is optimistic.

"Your ultimate goal, all 32 teams, is the Super Bowl," Wilfork said at a city event Tuesday, according to the Houston Chronicle.
