Houston Texans general manager Nick Caserio has remained a busy man in the opening rounds of the 2023 NFL draft, with now three trades in the first three rounds as the franchise looks to kickstart its rebuild next season.
Caserio and Houston's brass pulled off the first blockbuster of draft night early Thursday evening as the Texans moved from No. 12 in the first round to move to No. 3 before drafting Alabama edge rusher Will Anderson. Friday night brought a double dip of deals. The Texans moved up into the end of the second round before selecting Penn State center Juice Scruggs, and further fireworks came in the third round.
