Following an encouraging start to the season, Texans kicker Ka'imi Fairbairn is hoping to rebound after missing field goals in consecutive weeks.
As the replacement for veteran Nick Novak, Fairbairn made his first 11 field goals of the season. However, he's missed field goals in two consecutive games. That included a misfire from 34 yards out wide left Sunday in a loss to the Los Angeles Rams and a 37-yard field goal try he missed the previous week against the Indianapolis Colts.
"Just a straight mishit," Fairbairn said Monday inside the Texans' locker room. "I didn't hit the ball well.
