Texans safety Justin Reid has endured a lot of pain this season, and in his brief NFL career.
After undergoing offseason wrist surgery, Reid injured his shoulder during the preseason. It's become a chronic injury during which the second-year player from Stanford deals with subluxations in his shoulder.
Despite the discomfort, Reid has continued to excel. Especially in clutch tackling situations.
Reid dislodged the football with a big goal-line hit Sunday on linebacker Whitney Mercilus' 86-yard interception return. in a pivotal AFC South win over the Tennessee Titans. Earlier this season, Reid preserved a victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars with a tackle on running back Leonard Fournette to prevent a two-point conversion run.
