Reserve running back Jonathan Grimes will be sidelined for the Texans' game Monday night against the Oakland Raiders in Mexico City due to an ongoing illness.
Texans coach Bill O'Brien announced Wednesday that Grimes won't be playing for the second consecutive game.
"It's something he's dealing with right now, but I expect him back," O'Brien said. "But not for this game."
The Texans downgraded Grimes to out Saturday as he didn't make the trip for their road win over the Jacksonville Jaguars because of the illness.
Now, Grimes will miss another game after missing four games earlier this season with a cracked fibula.
