Texans' Johnathan Joseph on health status: 'Right now, I'm on track'

Texans veteran cornerback Johnathan Joseph is nursing a shoulder injury, but is optimistic he'll be able to play Sunday against the Oakland Raiders.

Joseph was limited in practice Wednesday along with safety Tashaun Gipson, who is dealing with back, hip and wrist injuries.

Both starters were forced out of last Sunday's loss to the Indianapolis Colts. Both are expected to be back for a home game this week.

Starting corner Bradley Roby is expected to be sidelined for the second game in a row with a Grade 2 hamstring strain.

"Absolutely, not the first time having this thing," Joseph said.
