Cooler climates and the possibility of improved camaraderie await the Texans this summer when they travel to The Greenbrier Resort in West Virginia to conduct training camp.
The AFC South champions have reached an agreement to hold camp outside of Houston for the first time in franchise history with dates still being determined.
Texans veteran cornerback Johnathan Joseph said he sees potential advantages by holding camp outside of the hot Texas weather.
"That's probably the biggest thing about it is the temperature," Joseph said Thursday as the Texans, including safety Quintin Demps and outside linebacker Tony Washington along with Hall of Famers Kenny Houston and Elvin Bethea and former Texans safety Eric Brown, hosted students from Pro-Vision Academy at the Pro Football Hall of Fame traveling exhibit at Texas Southern University.
